Living and/or Working in France

Laurence Raybois is a consultant specialized in assisting Americans who relocate to France. This presentation will have two major themes:

First, the administrative rules that apply to Americans living or working in France in regards to taxes, driving, banking, and benefits.

Second: understanding the visa and work authorization options, and how they apply in the case of regulated professions and in the context of EU agreements.

Raybois was born, raised and educated in France. She moved to the US three decades ago and splits her time between her native France and the U.S. She is the author of Chez Moi: The Foreigner’s Guide to Buying a Home in France and has presented numerous times in Portland, Seattle, and other French and U.S. locations.
