Bastille Day Wine Tasting at PAM

Enjoy a special wine tasting of four highly “slurpable” (and eminently affordable) summer wines at Bastille Day.These tempting treasures are curated and presented by wine scholars and sommeliers Maxine Borcherding of the Taste & Compare Academy and Ed McDonald of Elevage Wines.

Maxine and Ed have selected bright and refreshing wines from the Loire Valley perfect for warm weather and lighter menus. You’ll taste a sparking rose, two whites, and a red, all ideal for summer. Of course Maxine and Ed will tell you all about each wine you sample.

The tasting will be presented in two sessions: the first at one o’clock and the second at three o’clock. Each will run 30-40 minutes, enough time to enjoy and discuss the merits of each.

Click here to sign up for the one o’clock tasting and here to sign up for the three o’clock tasting. Each session is limited to 35. A limited number of tickets will be available the day of the event at the Alliance booth or ask at the entrance to the Wine Tasting.

What’s more, you can take home a bottle or two (or more) of any wine that tickles your fancy. Elevage Wines will be happy to help you out.

To get to the Wine Tastings at Bastille Day, come into the Wine & Beer Garden in the upper sculpture garden behind the event stage, then continue on toward 10th Avenue. Just give your tasting ticket to the person at the red velvet rope, and you’re in!
