Exclusive Cognac Dinner October 2 at the MAC

Maison Hardy, established in France in 1863, is famous worldwide for premium cognacs and is currently the #2 cognac in this country. Bénédicte Hardy, Maison Hardy’s brand ambassador, is coming to Portland for a very special event.

A direct descendant of the company’s founder, Ms Hardy will hold an exclusive tasting of five of the company’s top marques (brands), including rare and aged cognacs, at the Multnomah Athletic Club on October 2, from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

The all-inclusive tickets are $75. Purchase your tickets through the Alliance, just click here to reserve.

The cognacs will be paired with a gourmet five-course dinner prepared by James Beard-award winning chef, Philippe Boulot, Executive Chef of the MAC. Click to view the cognac dinner menu.

The presentation begins with a Pineau Rose, followed by an Organic VSOP Cognac. Next up is Noces d’Argent (blended Petite and Grand Champagne cognacs, aged 25 years), followed by Noces de Diamant (100% Grande Champagne cognac, aged 60 years). The evening will conclude with Elation Nectar de Poire Liqueur.

The presentation will be in English, though francophones may want to address questions in French to Ms Hardy, who is a native of Cognac.

In addition, Ms Hardy will be doing a bottle-signing at the Jantzen Beach Liquor Store on Sunday, October 2, 12-3pm. The public is invited to meet Ms Hardy, discuss Hardy cognacs (in French or English,) and get bottles signed. Guests may also get bottles signed at the tasting and dinner at the MAC.

Sorry, this event is now SOLD OUT. Email Sherry Charles at the Alliance if you’d like to be placed on the waitlist.
