Nicolas Quillé on the Red Wines of the Rhône Valley Region

On Saturday, May 5, Nicolas Quillé will lead a tasting of select wines from the Rhône Valley.

Originally from Lyon, Nicolas comes from a family that has been in the wine business for three generations. He has a Master’s degree in Winemaking from the University of Dijon and a Master in Wine Business from the University of Reims. Nicolas is currently the GM and Head Winemaker of Pacific Rim.

At this seminar he’ll discuss and conduct tastings of select red wines from the wide Rhône Valley region, from Syrah-dominated Northern Rhône to Grenache-dominated Southern Rhône wines. Afterward guests will be invited to mingle, enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and bid in a silent auction. (The event will be in English with some French terminology).

Tickets are $25 for AF members, $35 for non-members and includes the seminar, the hors d’oeuvre buffet, and the silent auction. This is an exceptional event featuring outstanding wines and top industry knowledge.
