French Winemaker Nicolas Quillé on the Sparkling and Dessert Wines of France 

Frenchman Nicolas Quillé, GM and Head Winemaker of Pacific Rim, will hold a wine appreciation/education seminar with a curated tasting of France’s sparking and dessert wines.

Originally from Lyon, Nicolas comes from a family that has been in the wine business for three generations. He has a Master’s degree in Winemaking from the University of Dijon, Burgundy and a Master in Wine Business from the University of Reims, Champagne.

At this seminar he’ll discuss and provided curated tastings of Champagne, Crémant (Alsace, Loire or Burgundy), Blanquette of Limoux, and Clairette de Die from the Rhône Valley. Afterward guests will be invited to mingle, enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and bid in a silent auction. (The event will be in English with some French terminology).

Tickets are $30 for AF members, $40 for non-members and includes the seminar, hors d’oeuvre buffet, and the silent auction. This is an exceptional event featuring outstanding wines and top industry knowledge.
