The Alliance occupies five classrooms on the ground floor of the historic Kamm House. The classrooms are in use most mornings, afternoons and evenings, during our year-round 10-week sessions. Our administrative office is a ‘virtual’ office -- reachable at all times by calling 503.223.8388.
Alliance members are welcome to to borrow from our extensive book and film library, located in the Grande Salle. Just check in with the office at 503.223.8388 to make arrangements for access.
The Kamm House was built in 1871 by steamboat captain and financier Jacob Kamm, and is said to be the only remaining Second Empire Victorian House in Portland. The Alliance occupies five rooms on the ground floor.
