French Winemaker Nicolas Quillé on Wine Appreciation and the Wines of the Loire Valley

Frenchman Nicolas Quillé, GM and Head Winemaker of Pacific Rim, will hold a wine appreciation/ education seminar with a curated tasting of wines from the Loire Valley.

Originally from Lyon, Nicolas comes from a family that has been in the wine business for three generations. He has a Master’s degree in Winemaking from the University of Dijon, Burgundy and a Master in Wine Business from the University of Reims, Champagne.

At this seminar he’ll discuss the provenance of the grapes and the wines of the Loire Valley. Afterward guests will be invited to mingle, enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and bid in a silent auction of wine racks from Stellar Cellars. (The event will be in English with some French terminology).

Tickets are $30 for AF members, $40 for non-members and includes the seminar, hors d’oeuvre buffet, and the silent auction. This is an exceptional event featuring outstanding wines and top industry knowledge.
