Ages 5-6
The classes for 5 and 6 year olds will study subjects sure to spark their imagination and curiosity. Whether your child is a beginner learner or well on their way toward fluency, you will find a perfect fit to enhance and enrich their daily activities with French language practice and, more importantly, fun.
Ages 7-10
After the online school day has ended and with few after-school programs available this fall, your child may want or need some additional French practice in subjects sure to spark their imagination and curiosity. Whether your child is a true beginner or well on their way toward fluency, you will find a perfect fit to enhance and enrich their online school activities with French language practice and, more importantly, fun. Choose from French for True Beginners, or Nature Explorers at Introductory or Continuing Immersion levels.

Do you have an artist at home in need of inspiration? In the Art Studio, our Zoom sessions inspire thinking, engagement, learning, creativity, French fluency and fun! Continue learning and creating in between classes by working on independent projects.
For beginners who have had some previous exposure to French. Instruction partly in English and partly in French, with a focus on specific vocabulary in French.
Details about the class:
In this class, students will learn French through arts and crafts!
Students will be introduced to or revisit simple vocabulary necessary for creating and describing works of art, such as colors, shapes, patterns, textures and art materials. They will also learn or revisit other basic vocabulary such as the French alphabet, numbers from 1 to 10, body parts, animals, seasons and emotion words. They will learn and practice this vocabulary with the help of songs, games, videos and books with colorful illustrations. Students will create colorful art or a simple craft project usingpaper and markers, crayons, colored pencils and watercolors. For some class sessions, we will use other materials. Advance notice will always be given for new materials.

- Learn or refresh your child’s knowledge of the French alphabet and numbers
- Discover different styles and works of art by various artists

Calling all aspiring world travelers and young geographers!
From Norway to Egypt - join us as we travel around the globe to explore the different countries and cultures that make our little blue planet so unique! Each week, we’ll set off on an adventure and learn about a country’s cultural traditions, food and geography through hands-on activities and games. Your young global citizen will learn expressions for asking questions in French, traveling, describing animals, food and objects, and speaking about their likes and dislikes. At the end of each of our adventures, your world travelers will also have the opportunity to design and write a postcard showcasing their written French and favorite aspects of each voyage!
Course objectives :

Students will engage in discussion and exploration of 5 - 6 (~2 wks per country) different countries around the world, their flags, cultural customs, food and geography.

Students will learn expressions for describing objects in French, basic verb and grammar constructions to speak about traveling and eating. Students will learn to express likes, dislikes and opinions. Students will demonstrate their learning and progress through participation in class discussion, games, and written postcard activities.

Students will learn to ask basic questions to learn about their peers and ask for descriptions and simple information.
