Description: Explore how to do business in French while developing business-oriented language skills. In Part I (weeks 1-5), students will practice their networking skills and product description while learning about product distribution channels and reviewing geographical prepositions and adjective agreement.

In Part II (weeks 6-10), students will practice making appointments, telephone communication, and writing professional emails while reviewing the past tense and interrogative adjectives.

Description: Do you want to travel to a French-speaking country but don't feel comfortable speaking to the locals once you get there?


In "French for travelers,"you will learn to communicate with people in daily situations while learning about local customs and cultural events.


The complete course will span a full year and focus on: travel logistics, cultural festivals, cultural & historical sites, seasonal foods and recipes & seasonal recreational activities.


Each week, we will spend the first half of class discussing a grammatical point and learning new vocabulary in order to understand a travel dialogue & the second half of class we will focus on a cultural element.


This class will be taught entirely in French and targets A1/A2 learners who have successfully completed Édito 104.

Street parking on SW 20th St. facing the Kamm House is limited. Free parking is available in Lot B at SW 18th and SW Columbia. Please obtain a parking pass from the office.

After 6 pm weekdays, students may park in the Willamette Dental lot at SW 20th and SW Jefferson as available.
