In this course for upper intermediate/lower advanced learners, we will take your listening and speaking skills to the next level with a study of some of the subtler aspects of French phonetics, targeted to your needs. In addition to reviewing several of the trickier sounds unique to French, we will dive more into the rhythm and musicality of the language through discussions of intonation, accentuation, liaisons, and levels of formality in pronunciation. Please note that this is a non-sequential class, and the book can be studied in any order. There is no need to attend previous classes where the earlier chapters were covered.
