Private French Lessons
Private lessons are available on weekdays and Saturdays, at a schedule and pace appropriate to the student. The format can be one-on-one sessions or small private-group classes. Contact the office at info@afportland.org to discuss options.
Private
Lessons
Private lesson pricing for adults or children is $55/hr for one student or $35 for 30 minutes. Students may purchase a number of lessons at once. A 10% discount is applied for the purchase of 10 classes at a time.
For private lessons, teachers develop coursework specific to the student’s needs and goals, including selection of a textbook and a defined curriculum. This private lesson format is suitable for students at all levels, from beginning to advanced.
Semi-private
Lessons
Semi-private lesson pricing for adults or children for 2 students or more are $35/hr per student or $20 for 30 minutes. Students may purchase a number of lessons at once.

Conversation
à la carte
Students at the intermediate and advanced levels may opt for a less structured approach for pure conversation practice. Called Conversation à la carte, these informal conversation sessions are free-flow opportunities to dialogue in French. Convos are available as 30-minute sessions at $25 per session. Students may purchase a number of lessons at once.
