Let's all get cheery at the holiday bazaar december 3

Gather together with friends, classmates, and other francophones at the Alliance Holiday Bazaar. Stop by Kamm House at 1425 SW 20th Avenue, the Alliance's home base, on Saturday, December 3, from 12-4pm. Exchange seasonal greetings in French! Find a stocking stuffer or two –– including French gnomes! Salute the season, taste some wine and take some home.

Spend oodles of time in the specially curated used book sale.  Say hello to Kamm House after a lengthy break. Find French-themed aprons and taste special treats from Pix. Come and have some fun on an otherwise quiet Saturday afternoon while you recover from Thanksgiving.

What can we say? It will be unique, intriguing, and delightful, and the books will be plentiful. Did we mention cookbooks?

Wines to sample

Encounter some old friends, some new, as you prepare for the holiday season. Sip a Kir or Kir Royale. You might also find a bottle or two to take home.

Hand-made PDX

Crafts abound in our city of rain. Marika fashions gnomes which could have stepped out of the dark forests of Europe. Mme. Valérie's French-themed aprons. Plus you'll see faience from Brittany. Unique hand-made jewelry.

For those new to the Portland Alliance, we're not only virtual -- we have a physical home at 1425 SW 20th Avenue, just off Jefferson. Take the Max to Goose Hollow or park in the Alliance lot on SW 18th off SW Columbia just past the roundabout.
