Once upon a time, any generic dry white wine was referred to as Chablis or White Burgundy. And before regional appellation names were protected by the European Union, most of us did not realize that the luscious white wines we enjoyed were actually from Burgundy—or Bourgogne – and were made from the Chardonnay grape.
We will serve you a selection of classic estate wines in various expressions and with a range of names, all are Chardonnays – plus a bonus Marsannay Rosé. Taste and compare!
Hoke Harden will be your guide and sommelier. He is a Certified Specialist of Wine, attended the FWS Master Program for Vins de
Provence and the Maison de Rosé, is a US Ambassador for Pineau des Charentes, and a BNIC Certified Cognac Educator.
We will be tasting:
Sangouard-Guyot Mâcon Laroche Vineuse 2022
Sangouard-Guyot Mâcon-Vergisson La Roche 2022
Sangouard-Guyot Saint Veran Au Brûlé 2022
