Visit the Musée Carnavalet After ITS 4-year Makeover.
Located in the heart of the Marais district, the Carnavalet – History of Paris Museum is the oldest of the City of Paris museums. Do you know that it contains over 618 000 items dating from prehistory to the present? More pieces than the Louvre! Carnavalet reopened in June after a 4-year renovation. This lecture presents its new architectural setting in two beautiful private mansions and a selection of objects you shouldn’t miss if you visit it for the first time. This lecture will bring you a lot of interesting facts about the French capital while discovering the most charming museum of Paris!
Isabelle Cocatrix, art historian and certified tour guide, will present in French and introduce the new face of this venerable museum. This lecture on Zoom will be on Saturday, February 26, from 10-11 am PST.

Street parking on SW 20th St. facing the Kamm House is limited. Free parking is available in Lot A at SW 18th and SW Columbia. Please obtain a parking pass from the office. After 6 pm weekdays, students may park in the Willamette Dental lot at SW 20th and SW Jefferson as available.OFFICE HOURS
