The only way to know is to taste them side by side.
So that is just what we'll do in January. We'll have eight wines paired two by two. Each pair will be one Old World and one New
World, and we will taste, compare, and discuss!
Hoke has select some New World and Old World Gamay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet blends for our taste and compare experience.
Hoke Harden will be your guide and sommelier. An enthusiastic lover of wine and spirits, Hoke has experienced every possible facet of
the business. He is a Certified Specialist of Wine, attended the FWS Master Program for Vins de Provence and the Maison de Rosé, is a
US Ambassador for Pineau des Charentes, and a BNIC Certified Cognac Educator.
We will be tasting:
• Broadley Pinot Noir 2023
• Louis Latour Domaine Valmoissine Pinot Noir 2022
• Secret Squirrel Cabernet Sauvignon
• Château Moulin de Bernat Bordeaux Supérieur, Bordeaux 2020
• Secret Squirrel Rhône Style Red 2018
• Lionel Faury Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah 2023
• Ricochet Gamay 2023
• Domaine de Pirolette Saint-Amour 2022
