The Bichot family settled in Burgundy in 1350 and founded the Maison in 1831. Six generations of the family have since run the
award-winning Domaines Albert Bichot.
Today, Albert Bichot owns six estates at the heart of each of the viticultural subregions of Burgundy:
Chablis: Domaine Long-Depaquit (Chablis)
Côte de Nuits: Domaine du Clos Frantin(Nuits-St-Georges)
Côte de Nuits: Château-Gris (Nuits-St-Georges)
Côte de Beaune: Domaine du Pavillon (Pommard)
Côte Chalonnaise: Domaine Adélie (Mercurey)
Beaujolais: Domain de Rochegrès (Moulin à Vent)
Each of the six estates has a winery and cellar with a dedicated production team. The over 100 hectares of vines in these estates have been managed either organically or with an environmentally responsible approach since the 1990s.

We will taste a variety of wines from the estates of Albert Bichot, presented by the Albert Bichot Portfolio Manager for the West, in
conversation with Alliance sommelier Hoke Harden.
The Alliance Wine Club meets monthly, usually on the third Sunday of the month. (And for the occasional bonus event.)
Our next regular meeting will be September 17.
This unique tasting will be held Tuesday, August 1, from 3:30-5:30 at the Alliance Française, 1425 SW 20th Avenue, Portland.
General admission is $10, with a $5 discount automatically applied for current Alliance members.
