About your Instructor
This course is taught by Tanya Morning Star, one of the Pacific Northwest’s most esteemed wine educators. Tanya is a Bourgogne Wine Ambassador, Champagne Wine Ambassador, and in 2018 was named French Wine Scholar Educator of the Year. In addition to teaching throughout the Pacific Northwest, Tanya also regularly guides students on educational trips throughout Italy and France. Tanya is also fluent in French!


This intermediate-level course offers an in-depth and expansive exploration of France’s most iconic wines. Dive into France’s best vineyards, learn about the country’s historic grapes, and discover how these wines intertwine with the history, cuisine, and culture of France.   

All learning is underscored with guided tasting of iconic and delicious French wines!

Are you a serious student of wine? Wonderful! Join us for this comprehensive study of French wine, pass your exam, and receive your French Wine Essential Certification.

Not so serious, but really love wine and all things France? Great! Join us for a lively and engaging two days of learning and tasting great wine and skip the certification exam.

PARKING

Street parking on SW 20th St. facing the Kamm House is limited. Free parking is available in Lot A at SW 18th and SW Columbia. Please obtain a parking pass from the office. After 6 pm weekdays, students may park in the Willamette Dental lot at SW 20th and SW Jefferson as available.
