Join the Alliances Françaises de Portland and de Seattle for
a guided tour in French of the Seattle Art Museum’s exhibition Farm to Table – Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of
Impressionism
(organized by the American Federation of Arts and the Chrysler Museum of Art.).
This unique cultural getaway invites you to (re)discover Seattle through a French lens. Meet the team and members of the Alliance Française de Seattle, connect with fellow Seattle Francophiles, and enjoy optional group lunch and dinner gatherings.
Choose from a delightful day of experiences — lunch, the guided museum tour, and a special dinner. Details and pricing for each are outlined below.
Lunch (for Portland participants) at Café Campagne, 12:30 pm
Start the day on a delightful note with a relaxed, convivial lunch before heading to the museum. This is the perfect chance to meet fellow travelers from Portland, share conversation in French, and enjoy a leisurely meal together. A short interest form will be sent to registered participants to gauge attendance.
Pricing:
We’ll reserve a table to make sure everyone has space, but lunch is à la carte, and participants will pay directly at the restaurant.
Visite guidée en français, at Seattle Art Museum, 2:30pm - 3:30pm
During this visite en français guided by Seattle artist Jamie Rawding, you will be invited to explore how food—its
cultivation, preparation, presentation, and consumption—took center stage in 19th-century French painting and sculpture. Through the lens of
cuisine, discover insights into French national identity, history, and artistic practice. The 60-minute guided tour will highlight
works in Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism, a temporary exhibition organized by the
American Federation of Arts and the Chrysler Museum of Art.
Pricing:
- Museum Tour Only: $20 – includes the 2:30–3:30 pm guided tour and museum admission.

dinner at Mirabelle by Orphée.

Just a few blocks away from SAM, our group will gather at Mirabelle by Orphée for an exclusive private dinner. Enjoy a warm, convivial atmosphere where French conversation flows as easily as the wine. Chef and owner, Orphée Fouano, has crafted a buffet-style menu showcasing French flavors, paired with thoughtfully selected wines. This meal is the perfect opportunity to connect with members of Portland and Seattle's French-speaking community, enjoy conversations in French, and share a delicious meal.

- Dinner Only: $70 – includes the 5:30–7:30 pm dinner only.
- Dinner & Guided Tour Package: $85 – includes the guided tour at the Seattle Art Museum and the 5:30–7:30 pm dinner at Mirabelle by Orphée.
