Fall Term Starts September 11

It’s back to school at the Alliance for Fall Term, running from September 11 through November 18.

Fall term offers the full range of method-based courses, from Beginning Saison 101 for students starting from scratch through Intermediate Saison 202, across the bridge and review of CPR 206, and on to the Edito series.

We’ve added a Thursday afternoon Perfectionnement class for B1/B2 students as well as Pronunciation for A2/B1. Intermediate students can venture into literature with Lettres de Mon Moulin or with Le Français par les Textes which examines both classical and contemporary literature.

For upper level students, this term sees the return of the popular Métronome, an engaging journey through the history of Paris by Métro. The brand-new course, Culture and Conversation: l’Humour en français, examines the complicated nature of humor (and especially French humor!)

Students also can delve into Translation, from French to English and vice-versa, for deepening comprehension and becoming more precise with the language.
