Award-Winning Journalist to Present at Alliance

Mort Rosenblum is a Paris-based reporter, author and educator who has been nominated for eight Pulitzer Prizes. Rosenblum has covered stories on seven continents since the 1960s, from war in Biafra to tango dancing by the Seine.

He was editor of the International Herald Tribune; special correspondent for The Associated Press; AP bureau chief in Africa, Southeast Asia, Argentina, and France. He won AP’s top reporting award in 1990, 2000 and 2001 and has written several books; click here to see Amazon.com’s list.

On February 22, 6pm-7:30pm, he’ll present at the Alliance on a broad range of topics, from the current conflict in Mali, to his wartime correspondent experiences with The Associated Press, and his views on living in Paris and growing olives in Provence. The presentation will be mostly in English with some French vocabulary. Reservations are $5 – a flat fee for both Alliance members and non-members. (Non-members, just ignore the “checkout” options for Membership and Donations.)

As of Feb. 14 we are able to re-open registration to the waitlist for this event (because we’ve moved the event to a slightly larger space in the Fireside Room of the adjacent church, FUMC). Click here to reserve your ticket. Merci!
